Sure you can......its easy! Just dip a paddle in the water and swish!! Its rumored that a certain John Pellegrino, a man with a notorious canoe background  is organizing a Canoe trip!  (he has made some not so gracefull, and totally unplanned, entrys into the water from canoes!)

Its not a rumor!! Its True!!!!

Join the Pellegrino's for a summer afternoon's paddle...3:00 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2000,  0n the Nissequoge River. Feel free to invite friends....its an open invitation!! A canoe trip on the Nissequogue River is a 5 1/2 mile journey through Long Island's beautiful north shore.  See unspoiled nature at it's best as you paddle through the river corridor. Don't have a Canoe? No problem!! Bobs Canoe rental can have one ready for you . Its 35.00 for the day and it will hold up to 2 Adults and 2 kids. He rents kayaks too for those solo adventurers

So come join us for  a fun day floating down a lazy river. Its sure to be a great trip! There will be a Barbecue and Campfire directly afterwards at the Pellegrino's.

Details: We will be meeting at "the bluff" ....its at the end of old dock road in kings park at the boat ramps , at 3:00 PM . The trip will take about 3 hours. Hope you can join us!!
